Scotland, land of mist


Scotland, land of legends ... and more. If ghosts and the Loch Ness monster still attract some curious, most travelers are looking for the subtle blend of raw and wild nature, a rich history and a unique culture.
Scotland, land of mist ... lovers moors covered with heather and romantic lochs, cliffs and waterfalls filled will return, especially if they venture in the northwest of the country, to explore the
Highlands. This region is among the best preserved in Europe: fewer than ten people per square kilometer! It perhaps is a higher density of sheep ... some atypical shaggy cows and rebellious fringe (Highland cattle) and countless seals and birds that inhabit the many islands. Change of scenery guaranteed!
As for the Scots, they are discovered very warm, just like the atmosphere that often prevails in pubs. Their food also reveals a few surprises, such as haggis, the famous haggis, dreaded home and yet acclaimed "best dish of Scotland."
The only potential enemy backpacker still rain. So much so that the Scot claims to have invented the kilt to not have to wet his pants down! The astute reader will therefore ensure takeaway boots and waxed. And to show a little patience: the landscapes of Scotland compete so much beauty between each grain ...
